Theres been alot of hype surrounding the new UD Naked Heat palette- just in time for fall! As a UD Pro member I was able to get my hands on this baby pretty quick.
The UD Naked Heat palette, just like its predecessors, has caught the limelight once again! The Naked palettes always bring about a new version of their predecessors and are able to wow the make-up junkies with a product worth snagging! What's so different about this one? Is it worth your $$. Find out in my First look and comparison of the palette!
Here are the swatches:
These are single swatches without any primer. My first reaction, Woah! Colors are insanely pigmented and the formula is very creamy. UD shadows have always been amazing in terms of texture and pigmentation and this palette is right up there!
Now speaking of price point and whether the palette is worth the hype. Retail price for this baby is $54 in the US. Even as a UD Pro member I didnt get any discount on this palette. So for me, its still on the pricey side. The darker shades of the palette are pretty unique.
Compared to the previous Naked palettes, I think that all of these colors are far more wearable than the colors in my original Naked Palette which was also a warm toned baby.
Question to ask yourself:
Do you like wearing a smokey eye?
Do you feel comfortable wearing dark eye shadow?
Do you like warm tones all year round? (YAS)
Do you feel comfortable wearing glittery eye shadow?
Do you have another palette that gives you both matte and glittery eye shadows in one?
I am personally a warm tones girl due to my Olive skin. Warm tones look the best on me and I rock them all year round. Some of the glittery shadows in this palette are A-MAZING. I ordered foiled glitter shadows from Makeup Geek last year and I really did not like them.
However, I am impressed by this palette when it comes to making the mattes super matte and making the glitters mediocre and not powdery or over the top.
SO! My verdict? Yes! I love the palette and the colors, the texture and the variety of shades at your disposal to create many day and night looks. I think I will be using this for the upcoming wedding season alot!
